A proposed class-action lawsuit against the manufacturer of the cholesterol-lowering drug Baycol was denied Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Minneapolis by Judge Michael Davis. German pharmaceutical maker Bayer faces more than 800 lawsuits in Minnesota and upward of 11,000 lawsuits nationwide by people who used the drug before it was pulled off the market two years ago.- Judge Denies Class Action Against Bayer Over Baycol
