Man Charged in Beating Death of 78-Year-Old

A Lawndale man was charged with killing a 78-year-old man who was beaten in late May, police said. Solomon Owasanoye, 50, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Ivory Jackson, said Chicago Police Officer JoAnne Taylor. Jackson died of head trauma Monday in Advocate Christ Medical Center, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office. Read more...
