Teacher Pleads Guilty to Sex With Student

A former Nebraska teacher who fled to Mexico with a 13-year-old student has entered a guilty plea to transporting a minor across state lines to have sex in a deal that allow her to avoid a mandatory 10-year sentence. Kelsey Peterson, 26, a former math teacher at Lexington Middle School, is expected to be sentenced to at least 70 months in prison. Read more...
