Daughter Slain After She Rejects Marriage

JONESBORO, Ga. - A daughter's refusal to stay in an arranged marriage led to her death and resulted in her father's arrest, according to police in Clayton County. Sandeela Kanwal, 25, was strangled, police said. They allege that Chaudhry Rashid, 54, argued with his daughter, then choked her to death at the family home in Jonesboro. Read more...
