Deputy Accused of Sex With Girl, 13

LINCOLN, Calif. — A laid-off Sacramento County sheriff's deputy is under arrest on suspicion of kidnapping and sexually molesting a 13-year-old girl. Lincoln police arrested 39-year-old Eric Cephus of San Jose at his home. Police Lt. Paul Shelgren said the department began investigating Cephus on Feb. 27 after talking to the girl. Read more...
