Man Who Dismembered Woman Gets 15 Years

COLUMBUS, Ohio — An Ohio man who bludgeoned his girlfriend to death with a hammer before dismembering her and scattering her body parts around the apartment complex where they lived has been sentenced to 15 years to life in prison. Robert Knight was sentenced Wednesday in Franklin County Common Pleas Court. The 51-year-old Columbus resident pleaded guilty to murder last month and will be eligible for parole after 15 years.
