Woman Beaten in Bar After Rejecting Advances

NEW YORK (AP) - A stranger followed a woman into a New York City bar restroom after she rejected his advances, savagely beat her in a toilet stall and perhaps tried to sexually assault her, police said. A police security camera near the bar's entrance captured images of the man afterward walking down the sidewalk and looking at his hand - an indication it might have been injured during the attack.
