Couple Found Dead in Home, Son Arrested

Two people are in custody after a husband and wife were found dead in their home in what investigators say appears to have been a double homicide. The couple's bodies were discovered when officers responded to a report of an unconscious person at a home about three miles south of Dallas. The victims have been identified as 61-year-old David Scott Jondle and 58-year-old Marilyn Ruth Jondle. The time and cause of death have not yet been determined but police said both appeared to have suffered trauma. Two suspects, the couple's son and his girlfriend, were later located in Salem and after questioning by authorities in Polk County, they were arrested. Read more...
