Man Gets 2 Life Terms for Double-Murder
A convicted killer who had previously been on death row has been sentenced to two life terms for a 1993 double-murder in Pensacola. An Escambia County judge sentenced Jason Mahn to two consecutive life sentences Wednesday. Mahn was 19 years old when he stabbed his father's girlfriend, 36-year-old Debbie Jean Shanko, 42 times and her 14-year-old son, Anthony, eight times.
