Wal-Mart Faces Lawsuit From
'Illegal' Workers Seeking $1 Billion

NEW YORK -- A group of lawyers filed a one billion dollar discrimination and exploitation lawsuit against Wal-Mart in federal court on behalf of hundreds of undocumented and low-paid immigrants detained in October. The workers, many of whom were janitors, were all employed by Wal-Mart subcontractors.
