NITRO, W.Va. --
A West Virginia man who won the largest single lottery jackpot in history has been accused of drunken driving on one of the most treacherous days this winter.
Jack Whittaker, who hit the $314.9 million Powerball jackpot on Christmas 2002, was arraigned Sunday by a Kanawha County magistrate on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
