A Marion County jury convicted a former school janitor on five felony child molesting charges early Wednesday morning.
James A. Altes, 43, was convicted of having sexual contact with four girls, ages 5 to 11, from 1996 to 2000.
Altes could receive up to 124 years in prison, said Roger Rayl, a spokesman for the Marion County prosecutor. Altes is scheduled to be sentenced Feb. 20.
