NEW YORK (AP) - A key government witness is expected to take the stand today in the Martha Stewart trial. Prosecutors say former Merrill Lynch brokerage assistant Douglas Faneuil was told to pass on an illegal tip to Stewart about her shares in ImClone Systems.
Stewart is accused of concocting a false story with her stockbroker that they had a pre-existing agreement to sell her ImClone Systems stock if it fell below $60.
