TORONTO (AP) - Rapper Ja Rule appeared in a Toronto courtroom Monday on a charge of assault causing bodily harm. The Grammy-nominated perfomer, whose real name is Jeffrey Atkins, did not enter a plea. He was released on $7,500 bail and ordered to return to court Aug. 30. Authorities would say only that the charge stems from a June 5 incident at a Toronto nightclub.
