LOS ANGELES (AP) — A transient accused of decapitating a 91-year-old former screenwriter and stabbing his neighbor to death pleaded not guilty Wednesday to two counts of murder.
Keven Lee Graff, 27, said "yes" quietly when asked by Deputy District Attorney Thomas Rubinson if he understood the charges. He remained held without bail. A hearing was set for Sept. 8.
